Suðuroy (meaning South island) is the southernmost island of the Faroe Islands, and for me, maybe the most fun to photograph. It has high cliffs, small seaside villages, and friendly people. Well, I have only met friendly people on Faroe Islands anyways so that goes for all of them.

These pictures are from a trip back in march 2013. Me and 3 friends (also photographers) had a week at the islands, but went for only a one night stay at Suðuroy. I could have been on just this island for a whole week and still enjoyed myself with my photography, finding new subjects all the time. I´ll definitely go back there the next time I visit the Faroe Islands.

To get to Suðuroy, you take the ferry from Tórshavn and the journey takes around 3 hours. A long the way, there is a lot to see. The weather was cloudy and foggy, it sets a certain mood on the pictures.
